The Glowplug Yellow Warning light on my 3 year old 2.0 litre Diesel Sport has started to flash regularly once the the engine has warmed up.
There is no mention of this condition in the Manual and the local Jaguar Dealer says it needs to be connected to his Diagnostic Computer, before he can comment. It has done 55,000 miles, and has been regularly serviced.
Has any fellow X-type owner experienced this condition, before I submit it to a post-Warranty (just) examination at the Dealer !!
Thanks.

In the absence of any response, other Diesel owners may be interested in the outcome of this saga. The condition became subsequently more frequent with noticeably loss of power when engine was started hot. The dealer diagnosed that this warning light flashing denotes a faulty Turbo Actuator. Used to be a separate vacuum operated device, but now of course an intergrated electronic assembly, so means a complete Turbo unit renewal at £1300 plus labour !! As dealer not prepared to budge, my subsequent appeal to Jaguar Cars direct, sanctioned a 50% discount in view of age and mileage, and 5,000 miles later, new Turbo appears to have corrected the fault.
Advice - sell on at 50,000 miles or take out extra warranty !!
