Can anyone shed any light on a tyre shredding problem a member has? It's the front wheels on a front wheel drive X-Type and they have excessive wear on the inner edge. So bad in fact that the member's wife had to leave the car at the tyre fitters and get a taxi home. The car is low mileage and there is not a huge amount of speed humps were they live (a known cause of inner tyre wear). I'm aware there's an issue with the tracking alignment of our cars, has anyone had this same problem or have any ideas for resolving it?
