Brakes - no servo ?

No power brakes!

1969 Series 2 E type; a car I purchased at an auction had no power brakes, the jubilee clips on quite a number of the vacuum hoses had been loosened, having made sure all the joints were tight still no power brakes. Were do I start trouble shooting to trace where the problem is. The system does look complex! Brake fluid levels are all OK and the pedal is not spongy.

I think that you are in the wrong forum, you should be in the E Type one, this is for X Types.
