2.5 V6 Engine

Are these engines belt or chain driven ?

There are two of each
The four camshafts are chain driven; one chain per cylinder bank/pair of camshafts.
The water pump has its own belt drive at the gearbox end of the engine. The alternator, A/C compressor and power steering pump are all powered by the serpentine belt at the other end of the engine.
The chain drives are reliable and generally long lived. The maintenance schedule recommends the two belts be changed at 100,000 miles.
