Open Day at Solihull College

[steveisleofwight]

Hi everyone, I have had the following note from Joan Mudd at Jaguarstuff if anyone is interested in popping along....

Open Day

Solihull College
Woodlands Campus
Auckland Drive, Smith's Wood
Solihull B36 0NF

The College is holding this event on Saturday 23rd May 2015 from 10 am until
3 pm at their Woodlands Campus. The day is designed to show what Solihull
College has to offer to people wanting to learn Motor Vehicle Engineering as
well as to showcase skills of the current students.

They would like some interesting Jaguars to come along on the day to act as
display cars.

The College has fantastic facilities including state of the art Snap On
equipped workshops with hydraulic ramps and work will be undertaken
throughout the day on a variety of X-Types although unfortunately the opportunity to have some work done on your car on the day is now fully booked!

They will also be running an F1 style Wheel Change Challenge. Set your
torque wrenches to stun!

It is envisaged that this will be an annual event. This is our opportunity,
as Jag owners, to be involved with and to inspire the local youth to take an
interest in a career in automotive engineering and, of course, the Jaguar
marque. It will be an excellent day out with all the usual suspects there to
entertain and amuse you along with excellent parking and facilities on site.
As always, this event is open to all.

For more details of the event please contact Joan on 07900 321849

Bye for now, Steve
