New Owner

Since August last year I have been the owner of a 2007 X-type estate and I am really enjoying driving it. I am still finding my way around the forum and although I have input my vehicle's details, when I pull up the x type register I cannot see them.

I have a question about the engine bay on my car. When I recently had it serviced, at my local West Sussex Jaguar dealership, they reported back that the vehicle should have an undertray and also queried the lack of a plastic top of engine cover. The Herfordshire Jaguar dealership (sold with Jaguar Warranty) said that it didn't come with either off the production line. Who is correct?

I need to have rust treatment and a respray done on the lip of the boot, where it meets the bumper and also on the hidden stretch under the rubber seal where the rear glass meets the bottom section of the boot. Can anyone recommend a high quality bodyshop in East Sussex, West Sussex, Kent or Surrey? I live right in the corner of the 4 counties.

Hi Matt. Only type of thing I could find. I know it was missing on my 05 model. I didn't get it from Main dealers.

They are the parts I am talking about. I've contacted David Marks to get a definitive answer, whether my vehicle should have either of them, having sent him photos of the engine. Also dropped Keith Parrington a line re bodywork with photos.
