HI,
just dropped in to say hi. Just joined the club had my X for about 4 months. It's and 06 2.5 Auto SE Estate in winter gold. It's my first Cat and hopefully not my last.

I hope you enjoy your X Type, in my view it is a much under-rated car.

Hi,
well had it for 5 months now. Still happy with it. Not too sure with the 18" low profiles as I got a puncture and didn't notice so was driving round with 15 psi in it. Still think I might have a leaky rim but need to monitor it properly. Other than that it's been pretty good. Hate the fuel consumption but hey it sounds nice and is very comfy.

Glad to hear you are still enjoying the car but know what you mean about the mpg.

My 2.5 auto did about 17 to 20 round town but about 30mpg on a long distance fully loaded with 4 people and a full boot.

spoke too soon - the sat nav screen remained blank this morning so it's back to the dealer next week..

those fuel figures are almost exactly what I am getting..
