GOOD MORNING NEWBEE

Good Morning all ive just joined this site as just purchased a 2006 X-Type jag FG06 OFX. Looks like the old owner used to be a member on here not sure if anyone can shed any light on that. Any advice on what to keep an eye on with the car would be good

Welcome to the forum.
Check the sills!
If they rot away unseen they can be terminal as it will be uneconomical to repair the car,
