I've just been persuaded by an old friend to join the club after having had my X Type estate for a couple of years. Does anyone know if the saloon and the estate have the same wheelbase? My sills are in need of replacement.

thats a very good question , i believe they do , but could be wrong

there are some good replacement sills being sold on ebay , and if you can weld its not that hard depending on how bad they are, i did mine last year for the MOT

Thanks for the reply, they do appear to be the same. I have had them both replaced by a local lad who did a great job.
