Doesnt tick his criteria, especially since it is very one of the few XJ40 Daimler's to be fitted with a Tweed interior, and it would be a crime to swap it since there are so few left. Also, it doesnt have a complete history. Common for those early cars to have their vacuum flourescent dash packs changed due to faults, which reflects much lower mileages on many. I had one con artist try to sell a car which apparently had 28,000, but looked to have done 228,000 miles. I enquired about that car a while ago when it was for sale from someone else (and a fraction of the price) and was told the service history isnt complete. The ad states MOT's going back to 2000, so 12 years where you just wont know if that car has had a new pack. Its a lot of money for a 40 which you cant vouch for mileage.
