I finally bought a cat and front pipe for my lwb. Mt question is I've removed the front pipe and cut the cat off and left about 3" of pipe subs in the intermediate silencers.
What is the easiest way of removing these stubs bearing in mind I'm working under axle stands.
Thanks in advance

Re: removing exhaust
loads of WD or similar, a bit of heat and a lot of brute force
I tend not to cut the exhaust but use the length of it as a lever to open up the femeale end of the adjoining pipe

Re: removing exhaust
Thanks Rob.
I tried using the full section but I couldn't get enough puchase on it. I think I'll have to change your name to Robtotherescueagain Jenner.
Looks like a can of WD on the shoping list tomorrow
