New front springs on x300

I recently fitted a new set of front springs to my 1997 x300 and i find the car seems to sit a bit high i measured this and from ground level to top of wheel arch its 27 1/2 ins.
Can anyone tell me if this would be a correct measure for this car?

don't have the figure maybe someone else has, but it maybe that the new springs will settle in time, or the new front ones are showing up weak rear ones now!!

Think? I have read somewhere, that the front ride height is mesured from the front crossmember, and is about 135mm???

How this would compare to wheel arch height I would not know, but if your existing springs were old, then I would expect a diffence in the ride height, so it could be normal?
