XJ6 Door Arm Rest

Hi Chaps,

So, how do you remove an X300 driver's door arm rest?

top door trims and wood off in the usual XJ40/X300 manner, pop out the blanking plugs on the underside of the armrest and remove screws, the whole door card including the armrest will come away with some sharp tugs, it is held to the door by some plastic clips ans one large metal clip behind the armrest, disconnect and wiring for windows and puddle lamps, once you have the door card off, you will see how the armrest is held on with screws from the rear of the door card, undo these and disassemble as needed
