Fault code C1095

Hi all,

ABS light coming on intermittently on my 3.2 X300. My mechanic friend hooked it up to his diagnostics and it showing Fault C1095 "Pump motor circuit failure". He has cleaned up the pump and cleared the code, but if it recurs he is advising a replacement pump, seems to be up to £100 on ebay. Would people agree with that diagnosis?

Hi Andy

I've put a wee-ditty on the general board, probably wrong to put on there but hey-ho. 1095 is a soldering-fault on the module. Well-known fault on big Fords of which I also own. It's the exact same unit used on the last of the big Fords, and dealt with by easy repair. Unfortunately on the Jaguar you'll need to remove the pump to get the module off, whereas on the Scorpio it comes detached without moving the pump because the pump is mounted on it's side in the Scorpio.
