X300 SPEAKERS

Hi i have a X300 Sovereign and i like loud music, can anyone recommend a replacement or upgrade door speakers?

Ah,
A man after my own heart. This is on my to do list also so I await any useful info with abated breath. It is frustrating, my other car (Rihanna) has an amazing sound system, and duly plays my tunes as loud as I like to drown my rock god out, or suprise people as Bethovens 9th shouldn't be played so loud.

It appears not. I do not know. I have looked into it as far as my limited knowledge allows me. The only feasible way I can see that you can upgrade the speakers system is to find a speaker that fits the current dimensions that are there, but with modern quality speakers.
This is the route I am looking into. Regarding changing the header unit, Im no closer to an answer.

300 HK speakers will fit

BUT

on an HK equipped car you have extra speakers in the rear door and A pillars along with the HK amp in the boot, this entail the HK wiring loom putting into the car as well as matching A post trims and rear door armrests, having done the job once, NEVER again!!. It will involve a total strip out of the interior of the car to get at the connections for the HK loom
