Hi has anyone retro fit the servo kit to the xj40 86/89 that does away with the hydraulic system? i am thinking of changing it, any info would be greatly appreciated.
I also appear to have forgot my manners, this is new to me?

I have a 1987 xj40 sovereign with 43,000 miles genuine according to mots etc it was part of the auction lots at the Bonhams sale in Harrogate November 2011 and is in pretty good condition, i think the problems i am finding are basically done to lack of use and basic maintenance. it seems to be a learning curve but hopefully with the help of others like yourselves not unsummontable. i am an heating engineer plumber by trade so a lot of work i am finding does relate in some areas back to my trade skills.
