xj40 central locking

hi does anyone know how to program the remote for the central locking? just picked one up & the sensor from a scap car just need it to work now. many thanks

hi, i bought my xj40 with just one fob and was advised to get another, it had to be programmed by a main dealer, it took half an hour and the labour charge was 50pounds (six years ago!) the only advantage was i got to wait in the very plush hospitality suite with leather sofas, free drinks and glossy magazines so i probably got my moneys worth, it also taught me an early lesson on the costs of running a jag
