Drivers door open red light fault

I have a 92 XJ40. The red light on the interior door panel that comes on when the driver's door is opened has stopped working. The light does still come on when any of the other doors are opened, so the circuit is ok. I can only guess that it's the switch for driver's door, but I can't seem to locate it. It is a small issue-but it's driving me nuts now :shock: ! Any help / advice would be greatly appreciated.

I think i'm right in saying the switch for that light is in the door handle and is operated when the handle is raised , but don't quote me :lol:
