X300 Auxilary Electrical Problems

My 1995 X300 4.0L Sovereign (LPG) is showing its age by:-

1) When opened the rear offside door does not activate the puddle lamp, interior lights or dash warning. Its not the bulbs and I have replaced and checked the door switch. This is a problem as I have kids and its the door you would prefer the puddle light to work on!

2) Memory Functions (3 settings) on drivers electric seat have stopped working. So when I put the key in the ignition, the seat and steering wheel will move to the last adjusted possition, which can be painful if my wife drove it before me!

3) Headlamp level adjustment does not work on off side. Its not the actuator ( I have switched them to check).

4) Occassionally, usually after long trips the radio stayed on after I turned off the ignition and removed the key. I solved this after tracking down an ancillary fuse in the boot that appaered to be powering the radio by an unknown route. But I would like to know the probable cause of this.

Any help would be appreciated.

Try to disconect the battery to reset all fault in the ECU. This is a simple solution who seams to work in most cases

try the battery disconnect as above and see what happens

but with a multitude of problems i would suspect a body processer problem, worth tracking down a second hand one and swapping it over

on late 40, not sure about 300, the fuse boxes also give up the ghost and cause odd electrical faults
