Dear JEC. Hope you can help. I have a (92) k plate xj40 and after a heavy downpour of rain or hosing down, water seems to find it's way through to the drivers footwell. This seem's to be worsened when i drive off and the water pours over my feet and soaks the carpet. I've tried looking under the bonnet where the bulk head meets the windscreen and can't make anything out. Can anyone advise please.

Harry, i would suggest you have a look at what is commonly reffered to as the 'duckbill' which is a rubber tube about 4ins long and hangs down next to the bulkhead from the front scuttle , behind the wipermotor, 9 times out of 10 it'll be blocked, this is the main drain Derek...
