X300 electrical

Help is required to locate a garage with experience of x300 electrics in Scotland.
If no suitable specialist is known for Scotland I'm happy to travel as far as necessary.

Any good auto electrician should be able to help, the x300, whilst advanced at the time, has fairly straightforward electrics compared to more modern cars, depends what the issue involves....

Hi Andy, thanks for your help, it's with a garage at the moment but it has been with him for a week and has not been even looked at!
I've been to several garages locally and no one will look at it hence I would prefer a specialist that I can rely on.

Hi, yes I'm in the Grampian region jec and know Jim, but they are more into modern jags, I'm more interested in someone more specific to the older x300 as they seem to use
a different obd system to the modern jag.

Remember that x300s are OBDII compliant as per more modern cars.

Yes thank you, I'm going to give this chap another couple of days but if he has still not done anything I'll take it away and in the meantime I will write to Rob and hopefully have some options.

hi can anyone help me with a lighting issues with my 1997 x300 NS tail lights,number plate & side none work,fuse is ok & power getting to engine bay fuse ok,also tried changing boot module but still the same ,please help
