Chassis and Engine Numbers

Hello All
A quick question, is there any way to discern from the chassis and/or engine number of my X300, when it left the factory? Just out of interest really! It was 25 years old today, but that's by the date of registration.

Not for a precise date. Only the build record will give that to you, or someone with access to a Jaguar look up system.

That relates to an XJ6 3.2 Automatic which was built on 24/04/1995
