Hi all, I have an Xj40 Majestic registered on 3rd January 1996, would this make it one of the last XJ40 Majestic's produced?

I have all the build records of the Majestic cars here, pm me your vin and I will have a look for you

I know of at least three N reg 40 Majestics, I have one here

I have records of 4 N reg Majestics

one show as no details held on the reg I have at DVLA

one shows as SORN and MOT expired 06/10/2016, my car, went for mot today

one shows as as SORN and MOT expired August 2013, I know this car

one shows as SORN and MOT expired August 2016

there may well be others but I do not have any other original registrations to go one

last Majestic built was 9th June 1994, and was a RHD export car, a Daimler Double Six heading for Japan

last UK car built of the 73 cars was 9th June 1994 and was a black/doeskin Daimler

Yep, I know the car, I have pictures of it from years ago

another 9th June 1994 built car, sent to Riders in Truro, first registration, 674TPB, hence I have no N reg record for it

last but one Uk car built

Last XJ40 built was 708757, July 1994

Quite a few 40's were unsold or retained at the factory, and then discounted through selected dealers, I know three of the Majestics went to Riders Truro and at least one XJR and were not sold until 1996

I have had 4 N reg 40's here over the years, still quite rare though

Worth saving I would think? If it's not too bad state.

It's in good shape, no lacquer on the boot lid and a few little dinks.

Yep, looks identical to my Majestic, except mine has red piping seats.
