Front passenger window not working

My N/S/F window won't go up or down, fortunately at the moment it is in the closed position. When operating the drivers switch I get a click from the passenger switch, that is all. I have tried substituting the passenger switch without success. I did have a couple of incidents when the window would go down on its own and then randomly shut again, I put that down to a faulty alternator which drained the battery [both replaced] but recently nothing. Any ideas or solutions appreciated.

Since suggestions to solve the problem appear short on the ground, I hope you have managed to sort matters. If not, I suggest that, after checking all the wiring for continuity, swapping the door modules over would allow you to test if the passenger module is faulty. Mike.
