Morning all, I'm trying to get my cars heritage certificate from the Jaguar heritage, they inform me that I need to supply the cars engine number gearbox number body numbers & vin numbers. I've been told the body number is behind the rear bumper on a small plate/tag, so do I need to remove the bumper to actually see this as I cant see anything on mine? also had the car on the ramps and can't see any gearbox numbers, where about are the numbers stamped on the gearbox? same with the engine numbers ? alas I know where the Vin plate is LOL.
Any help would be great thanks
Keith

Re: Numbers
You have to provide the VIN number for them to do a trace, but the other numbers are not required.
If you do provide them then they will put them on the certificate, but if you don’t then they will simply put originally in front of that part of the certificate. I went with this option to save crawling about under the car lol
