Encoding X300 Keys

Hi Folks,
I bought a new key for my X300 XJ6R a couple of years ago, and the dealer programmed it. Now it refuses to operate the immobiliser (actually haven't used it for about a year).
Does anyone know how to encode the key using the Valet switch?

Also, if you use the "Search" function, accessible at the top right of the screen, you can access all previous posts and use keywords etc to find appropriate postings. It's a really useful feature of the Bulletin Board.
