Blackpool centenary.

I would like to thank the staff at Bristol and the gent who phoned me from his car as he drove to Blackpool they kept me informed of the situation ,if the weekend would be on or of ,with the sad news of the queen.What a great weekend it turned out to be,we drove up early on Saturday weather was perfect.we stayed at a art deco style hotel which my wife loved,brownie points for me,Sunday we came down to breakfast and met a group of Germans looking at road maps we chatted,they were on a tour of the north of England and asked me about my Jaguar,i told them it was a xj40 which was 30 years old and i had owned for 26 years they were well informed about Jaguar cars.After breakfast we collected our gear for the day on the promenade,to my surprise the Germans were taking photographs of my car and also filmed us as we drove to the sea front.The boss commented "thats made your day",i had a large grin on face driving along the seafront to the show.P.S. car and wife behaved impeccably all weekend.
