Any plans for the summer?
Any thoughts about an all XJ40 event?
I don't think there are any big anniversaries this year for the 40.
Mine turns 30 though!

Look out for local classic car meetings, usually not widely advertised but great fun. I've always enjoyed the mix of vehicle makes and find their owners more open to interesting conversation.

Big single make meets, (including regional ones), can sometimes be a bit stuffy and self centered. An exception tends to be the breakfast types such as Kemble and Gaydon where everyone is far more welcome.

I hoping to get around during the summer, and an excuse to visit Dorset would be great...
Spent many childhood holidays on the coast there.

If you are thinking of touring this summer, then look at the Events that the various Regions are putting on over the coming months, lots of variety to choose from and covering most of the country, from the far north (Grampian on Jul.31.22) to the deep south (Essex Classic Car Show Sep.04.22). Click the Events and then Regions Tab to check them out Lots to choose from.
In addition, many cities, towns and villages will be hosting the Queen's Platinum Jubilee Celebrations on Jun.04.22, see what is on near you.

Thanks! i have now booked the Brookland British Marques day on Drive it Day. Kent South Region are going up, so i thought i would tag along.
