I got us a plug on the Practical Classic Facebook Page. Editor Danny Hopkins has a Daimler Six, but unfortunately he's committed to Goodwood Revival.

Interesting point actually - clashing with Goodwood might not have been ideal in terms of turnout. But I guess there's something on most weekends. I think the trick is to mention it early and mention it often. Really often.

That's the risk unfortunately.

You plan as far ahead as you can, but you can't always foresee what is being organised for the same period by someone else.

It's also tricky organising around work and family life!!

Hi Andy,

You are more than welcome to come along - just remember a few things though:
1. Take heed of the directions - otherwise you will end up on a bus lane (which gives you a brown envelope landing on your doormat!!).
2. There is a charge of £4 per person (for the guided tour) - paid on the day.
3. If coming along to Taybarn after - I am not paying (that applies to everyone)
4. If your car drips oil, you will need something to place under it when parked up.
5. I hope you like Birthday cake!!

Hi Steve, thanks, it is me and my wife Helen, I can get a drip tray, should be no drips though it has just had a big service at XJK! no need to worry about Taybarn, we will need to get back home to North Wales afterwards. Birthday cake fine!
No probs with the £4, sounds a bargain! what time do we need to be there?

I'm planning for us all to get there for 10 to 10.15am. Tour starts at 10.30am. Directions are in an earlier post on this thread.
That should give us time to park up & introduce ourselves.

It was the first x300 meet I have attended & such a great venue too.
Nice to meet you all & hope to see you all soon.
Managed to average 30.1 mpg from Sheffield & back.
