Air conditioning for MK2 3.4

I am currently in the process of doing a complete ground up restoration of a MK 2 3.4 Ltr. I have decided not to restore to original, but to follow more the approach taken by Linn Rose in his Blogg, Vlave chatter. To that end I am considering fitting air con. Does anyone have any experience of doing this, or recommend a kit that isn’t extremely expensive, or put me in touch with someone has experience.
