S-Type Headlining around Rear Screen

Postby davgr01 » Mon Aug 19, 2019 5:56 pm

Hi
I need to replace the Headlining around the rear screen on my 1965 S-Type

Can anyone give me some advice here on the best way to do it.

Can it be done without removal?
Does the rear screen need to come out to access it?

Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
Graeme

Hello Graeme,

I would say the screen must come out (Consider replacing the rubber seal on replacement as the old rubber will be past it's best) (Unless recently replaced of course), as the headlining will need to be glued around the aperture.

Hi Alec
Thanks for that.

Can it be done in place with the rear screen removed or will other panels need to be removed to gain access?
Cheers
Graeme
