Mk2 electrical problem

Postby spadekevin » Thu Jun 14, 2018 3:20 pm

Hi,

I seem to be having some sort of an electrical bug. Tried starting my car, but just won't start. When switching the ignition on I noticed that the fuel pump don't prime at all, i checked fuse and relay(need to take power straight to the fuel pump to see if it will work).
What i found strange is when I turn the ignition on, the indicator light on the dash is on(but dim), if I switch the indicator on it only goes bright but does not flash( but the hazards works fine). The horn/hooters does not work, but the relay "clicks". Reverse lights and handbrake warning light is also not working, everything worked fine last week friday when I last drove the car?

Please help.

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.

Checking your ground points around the car is where I would start.
2012 XKR, Black pack, Aero pack, Speed pack 8)
Past:-87'XJS 3.6L, 93'XJ40 3.2L gold, 95'XJ6 4.0L sport, 00'XJ8 3.2L sport, 2005 XK8 4.2L, 2009 X150 5L Portfolio coupe, in that order and enjoyed all of 'em. :D
