Hi all we are a keen jaguar family with a few in the collection. We are desperately trying to find our old 240 which we owned in the 70's , REG: JNH 664F.
We sold the vehicle in Northampton which makes no odds now as it could be anywhere! We believe it to still be alive as it was last MOT'd in 2009
Does anyone have any idea?? I have carried out the MOT check etc but no info on there, and DVLA will not, quite understandably, give out the details.
I have attached a few photographs, does anyone have any idea how I could hunt the car down? Any help much appreciated

Re: JNH664F Are you still alive??
Hope someone can help as from DVLA records it looks like it has been stored away somewhere or scrapped and they have not been notified. Since DVLA changed their method of providing info on the supposed basis ofinformation protection then it is really useless for this sort of thing. I have been trying to find the history of my car but it gives no help except for recent years.
Best of luck,

Thanks for your reply, yes you are right it has been off the road for some time. i find it hard to believe it could have been scrapped as it was last on the road in 2009, when they already had a reasonable value. Hi All
Good news - last night we did a deal on our old Jag - thanks for your help. I wrote to the DVLA who pu8t me in contact after a lot of work! I will post pictures of the restoration.
Condition is solid, but in primer. Anyone with a set of red door cards for a 240/mk 2 please get in contact! Also any specialists would be useful as we may have the restoration work carried out by others.
Thanks
Henry

Are you looking for help in Norfolk or London or does it matter where? In addition is it mainly bodywork or mechanical bits or everything you want help on?
