Hi Stuart,sounds like your going to be busy for a long time especially with 2 jags.
Well ive been messing about most of the day trying to get the front brakes working correctly but sadly i will be having yet another weekend away without the jag.I had stripped the brakes down, cleaned them all up etc.They seemed to be a little better but i took it out for a spin today and not only are the discs and calipers seriously hot but there was smoke coming off them!!
The problem is with the calipers,when i put the brakes on the calipers are moving in but are seizing onto the discs,i had the discs reground but i think it was a false economy,it won't be safe enough to take down the motorway tommorrow.I think im going to have to look at uprating them,ive seen some on the coopercraft website.
My jags not in bad condition,its definatley not a show winner,the woodwork and interior needs re doing aswell as many other jobs! The horn,windsceen washer,radio don't work,im just going to tackle them one by one.Hope you have a good weekend.Adam
