Front Suspension bushes

My local Jag Mr Fixit has said he can't change the front suspension bushes (MoT advisory) due to lack of special tools to remove old bushes and compress spring. Anyone advise/help please?

Hi Geoff, the special tools you or your mechanic will need are available to hire from Ken Jenkins, see the back cover of the JE magazine for his contact details.
