Steering box bush replacement

Hi, i'm back again. Following the install of my rebuilt 1968 240 engine, see easy engine re instalation in "engine' ( she's running nicely now i have the timing right) i am addressing a very small leak on my steering box. No major problem there but, as I have replaced every part on this rebuild that can wear, i see ther is an oil seal and a bush which can be changed. These are items 2 and 19 in the attached photo. However, i have no idea how to get them and the lock ring item 20, out. My Haynes and my workshop manual make no reference to this so I am stuck. Any help appreciated.

Hello Doherto,

I have not done this job but it looks like a typical bush which will be a light interference fit. It should drift out, ideally with a stepped drift that fits inside the bush. A press is another alternative.
