Steering turning circle

Postby mraine790555 » Mon Jul 26, 2021 4:20 pm

I have a 1968 Daimler Sovereign (420) which has a superb turning lock when going left but a very poor on when turning right.
I am assuming this is due to incorrect adjustment of the steering box. Am I right? If so, could anyone please tell me how to rectify this fault?
Thanks in advance

Hello Michael,
the tracking will need resetting after the steering box is put in the straight ahead position. I suspect if you look at the tracking adjustment rod, there will be a lot of thread on one side and far less on the other.
