I’m somewhat perplexed. After fitting new tie-rods/ends, I’ve gone to bolt the front calipers back on, which should have been a 10 minute job, only to find the Tie Rod Lever and Stub Axle Carrier bolt holes for the calipers are no longer aligned.
The only explanation I can come up with is that with all the banging to remove the old tie-rod ends I’ve somehow moved the Tie Rod Levers where they’re bolted to the Stub Axle. They’re mis-aligned on both sides.
Has anyone got any other explanation?
I’m posting this on both the Steering and Brakes forums.
Cheers, Mac.
