Intermittent Fuel smell in Cabin

Hi

This only happens in hot weather and when the hot engine is restarted after a short period of time e.g 30 mins to an hour. I get a fuel smell in the cabin and around the Carb side of the engine.
No obvious leaks at the Fuel Bowl and Unions.
This has only started after a complete Carb rebuild including Auxilary Starting Carb.
No wetness at bottom of Carbs and surrounding area.
So it can only assume its a tiny leak somewhere which is instantly vapourising.
Any ideas would be welcomed.
Cheers

Hello Graeme,

no firm ideas, just guesses. Heat expansion of the fuel in the fuel bowls overflowing down the vent pipe? I know that is a lot of expansion so probably not likely?
Can you have someone switch on the engine while you look under the bonnet to try to determine where it's coming from?

PS Do a tightness check on all joints.
