I finally found the color code for my Opalescent Gun Metal gray from here. It's Standox's Wizard type color selector application - quite handy.

If you use some other paint manufacturer your paint dealer can perhaps convert the Standox code to their code or pick the 'incredients' from the recipe.
Unfortunately all the paints will be water based in the very near future thank's to EU regulations.
