middle bonnet chrome strip

Hello.
I have started to strip my s type. And the chrome strip which runs down the middle
of the bonnet won't come of. I have undone all the clips from the front to the back but
its the last 5" I can't get free. Any help please on how to free this strip.

Hi Ricky
I took the same trim off my Daimler recently and found the end was held in place with a captive nut/ bolt (mascot end) located from under the bonnet.

thanks allen for your reply. I manage to strip my trim in the end. I had my car striped back to metal in October and repainted. I'm now wondering if I should put new chrome trim on my car as
the old trim is not in good condition.
