Brake piston diameter ?

Could anyone tell me the diameter of the caliper pistons on the rear of the 420 as i have just bought a set of new old stock pistons and while i have what i need for the front i find i have 3 left over and wonder if they would fit the rear,but as yet do not have the rear calipers off the car.Any info gratefully recieved,thanks,howard.
