Hi Nigel
I'm not sure whether your system has the servo reaction valve like my 420 has but if so, this could be the source of the whistle. I had a similar problem and it turned out to just need the air filter and seal that sit on top of it re-seating. Took about 15 seconds to do so might be worth a look.

Re: Bleedin' brakes!
May I ask where you had your Servo reconditioned?
The reason I asked is that I had mine done at J & L of Rochdale. They made a nice job of it, but I had problems and took it back and they built me another, this works fine but initially was noisy and is quieter now, but I have to push the brake pedal down a short way before anything happens and it is with a slight jerk, not smoothly (2ltrs of bleeding didn't clear anything).
There is another post on here about the way they set the position of the piston rod (by eye!) so wondering if you have the same problem and it is related to the piston rod position.
I have been running mine with no ill effects but have to remember to allow time and room when braking.

Re: Bleedin' brakes!
Sorry about the delay in replying.....couldn't find the paperwork.
I sent my brake master cylinder and servo off to Jagspares Int, who passed them on to Past Parts Ltd. in Bury St. Edmunds.
All seems to work well despite the whistle when braking gently. It might be my imagination, but I think the whistle is fading...time will tell.
Thanks again everyone,
Nigel
