Hello, sorry this sounds really silly but where do you top up the automatic transmission fluid on a Daimler V8 250. I have the handbook and workshop manual. It shows where the dipstick is but no information on where to fill.(at the moment I feel like a 'dipstick)
Can anyone help please.
Many thanks
Neil

Hi Neil
Yes, that is the answer, the dip stick. If you pull out the dip stick, the get a litre bottle of transmission fluid, they usually come with the long tube to screw on the top. Insert the tube into the dip stick tube and squeeze the bottle until the correct level is found, replace the dip stick.
Then start up your car and work the selector through all the settings, stop the car and check the level is good. If fine then go for a drive to check and bring it up to temp, on your return re-check the level and top off as necessary.
