Fluid? What fluid??

Whilst prepping my Daimler Sovereign 420 for Drive it Day on Sunday, I noticed the automatic transmission fluid (ATF) level had dropped a smidge. On checking the handbook for recommended options - there are several listed. However, it would appear that names / brands have moved on since 1969!
So what should I use from the many types available today?
Can I just add the suggested fluid to what’s in there at the moment - to allow me to participate in DID or do I have to replace all the ATF?
