Overdrive interchangeability

Does anyone know whether the original type of overdrive fitted to the Moss gear box can be fitted to the later all-synchro box?

To be honest I can't answer that question but I cannot resist asking why you need to know?

Simple really. I have a Moss box with a good overdrive and an all-synchro box with an overdrive with a damaged casing. I'd like to fit the all-synchro box to my car.
