Horn Push Assembly

Postby geoffincornwall » Thu Jan 12, 2012 1:18 pm

Hi

There is a part fitted to the top of the steering column that consists of a plastic tube with a spring and contact that is attached to the internal horn cable and bears on the inner part of the horn push. This part I am missing but I cannot fathom the part number from the Parts Catalogue diagrams. Can anyone help with the part number and ideally where I might get one.

Thanks

Helo Geoff,

the diagram is not very good with regard to that, however if you are talking about the spring, insulator and cable that is seen inside the steering wheel when you remove the horn push assembly, possibly these items are what you need:-

cable complete with contact C 15666,
Spring inside top half of rotor, for cable tension C 8156
Rubber sleeve (No plastic sleeve listed?) Insulating contact from steering column outer tube
C 10650

All I can suggest is you contact some of the specialist suppliers?
