Rear tail light - indicator / brake / tail light holders

Hi

I'm hoping somebody can help me out here. I sent my rear tail light holders away to be chromed with the bulb holders still pressed into them in the hope that they could be chromed with them still in place. They couldn't and the chrome shop removed them damaging them beyond repair in the process. I can't find these parts in the manual or on the web. Can anybody tell me where I can get some of these either second hand or new.

Hi 470HW, i had the same problem when i had my tail lights rechromed. I managed to find some on ebay but i have just looked for you and there are none on sale just now. There are some complete units with lamp holders but that may be an expensive route to take. In your position i would give Ken Jenkins a call or try John Gordon Jaguar in Accrington as I have sourced some small 'pre owned' parts from them in the past. Good luck hunting. As an aside, if you are reinstalling rear lights, I soldered earths onto the two lampholders to avoid depending on the contact with the chrome unit. I then connected them together and connected them to two seperate earths in the boot. Just belt and braces to avoid future earth problems.
