Door and window winder springs

Hi
First of all I would like to apologize to Terrybeck for not thanking him for some advice he gave me about two years ago regarding the interior of my Mk 2. This is only my second question on the site since then so I've only just picked up how rude it was of me!
The second question is:-
Does anyone know where I can get the springs for the door and window winder handles? I've only tried David Manners but they only do the springs with the complete set of handles. Are there any places that will supply just the springs?
Thanks for any help and hopefully I'll show my appreciation a lot sooner than two years!

Hi
My 420 parts manual quotes part number BD10732 for the handle springs. I did a quick check and these are listed by Martin Robey, priced at £1.98 each. I would expect them to be common across the model range.

Or, you could try to find some from spring specialists such as Small Order Springs.

Hope this helps.

Hi Stuart

Thanks very much for that info. I've ordered them and hopefully they're winging their way to me as I write. Perhaps I should have researched it a bit more comprehensively, but sometimes it's a lot easier to go straight to someone who knows.

Much appreciated James
