420 1968 'Goldie' steel sunroof -interior liner

I have a 1968 420 which has a steel sliding sunroof (electric!)
Having removed the interior lining panel in order to remove
the steel roof during a full respray, I have the roof re-installed and working correctly BUT
I can't fathom how to refit the interior lining cloth covered frame.
I last did this in 1985 - after a first respray - but my memory doesn't go back that far!!!
I know one or two MK11s and 'S' types have had this type of roof (as opposed to the Webasto type)
fitted - which have featured in the Magazine over the years.
Can anybody out there provide me with instruction on how to refit the interior panel please????????????????
Alas, although Goldie supplied me with new cables in 1985 they are now defunct.
